Parents will be given the opportunity to consent for their child to leave the house on short trips outside with a Counselor. Any trips taken will need to be by foot, and campers will not be able to ride bikes, scooters or skateboards. At this time they will not visit any indoor establishments or enter anyone else’s home. They will not be able to combine with other households and will be expected to socially distance in any public areas. 

Campers may never ride in a staff member’s vehicle and at this time should not use public transportation. Any trips taken must be within walking distance.

Some local restrictions apply to pod sizes when parents are not present, including when exploring the neighborhood. Please see your state requirement below:

CA - Counselors can supervise up to 5 kids from two different families when parent/guardian is not present.
DC - Counselors can supervise up to 5 kids from any number of families when parent/guardian is not present.
IL - Counselors can supervise up to 3 kids from any number of families when parent/guardian is not present.
NJ - Counselors can supervise up to 5 kids from any number of families when parent/guardian is not present.
NY - Counselors can supervise up to 5 kids from two different families when parent/guardian is not present.
VA - Counselors can supervise up to 4 kids from any number of families when parent/guardian is not present.
